Well, he said that he'[d tried replacing the CPU... And battery damage...

The CPU isn't very well soldered.. even some of the pads look like they're floating / touching. I also don't think that looks like a new CPU... the legs are all bent out of shape and corroded...

That was one of the CPUs Exxos sent to me with a relocator board which I didn't use and sent to this person. They were in the original CPU cradle.

As straight as that crocked pub that went up in flames last year.

Goodness knows why he decided that it needed a CPU change as there's no battery damage in that area.

It needed a CPU change because of the cap damage eating the pins:

It's fair to say my CPU replacement attempt didn't go well (cough) so I gave up at this point before messing it up further.

There are a few floating pins anyway on that CPU but even without looking too hard it’s obvious there are plenty of errors to fix, hopefully once you’ve sorted the bridges out it’ll boot.

I may have one or two spare chips from a donor LC-II if they are the same.

Also sure there shouldn’t be a missing chip??
