They were from an aussie show called Neighbours which is still on TV over here. Saw it when I visited my sister. They both had musical careers.

Neighbours actually had three chart toppers: Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and later Natalie Imbruglia (or was she on "Home and Away"?).
