Not the way I'd like my IC's to be packed:

Not an anti-static bag and no padding, just this bag inside another bag :(

Luckily they all tested fine, but that's not the point as all of them needed the pins straightening.

Oh heck, I just found this vid on YouTube: Kim 1 replica build with More Fun Making It

I think we all know what's likely to happen in the near future...

Come to Cambridge on the 9th/10th November and you can meet DevilishDesign and maybe even Lee (MoreFunMakingIt). Oh, and I'll be there too. ;-)

Will have to see what I'm doing, I'd love to come but have a busy time in October/November. I'll see what I can do, but I am away the weekend before so not fair on the other half to scoot off again 2 weekends running.

Well, now wishing I'd kept my Atari CX80 Trackball, prices are currently off the charts crazy...

Unfortunately most things have gone that way.

Indeed they have. I have many regrets about ditching my Atari 8 bit stuff. I did manage to get an Atari Touch Tablet recently, including the stylus and Atari Artist cartridge (I had these too) and got a very good deal on them, but the CX80 is rather elusive.

I wonder if it'll get a remake like the CX40 and CX78 controllers?

Small side project that I think came from @PhilC ages ago. About time I got this built:

ROM still needs to be burned and there are a few items in the post, but otherwise going well :)

Well, today is getting annoying already...

I bought a spares/repair Colecovision the other day. Apparently it's out for delivery, which normally would be great, except the tracking shows it in Northern Ireland, and I'm in Essex... @stephen_usher I think this is a familiar situation to you...

Now I've just realised that the XT IDE needs an EEPROM not an EPROM, so had to order that...

Wondering what else will flag up...

Royal Mail do seem to be (a) mixing places up, almost as if someone misplaced the map, and (b) making more traffic on their network getting misplaced items to the correct part of the country.
