A lot of those headers are for a future FPGA board around the MMU etc.. you can pretty much just wire link over them if you wanted to.

Yeah I might do that for the 2 pin ones next to the MMU, glue

So, as @exxos demanded, I made time to get my second board finished. Well, finished as in the minimum amount of parts to get it to live that is.
Good news is its trying to live. Bad news is I need to solder on the cartridge port and serial port :roll: Diagrom is up and booting but theres something not right with either ram or the shifter. My money is on the ram.
Pretty happy with the results so far though, so watch this space.

I am going to start my build next week.. Don't have half the bits, but will figure out what I need when I run out of something :)

So @PhilC , what happened? If it starts up with diagram why do you need the serial port. Is the video broke? Do we need to call an ambulance? Enquiring minds want to know... what's up with H4#2. :?: :?: :?:

Ok, do it I know it boots Diagrom because it does the border flashing bit after reset but the foreground stays corrupted, hence thinking it's a problem with ram. I'm using an 8mb simm at the mo but will swap it out for the one in my A1200 which is a 4mb one and might get a chance to try again later.
