I was going to see if I could build something with an arduino but will look for that adaptor first.

So, tonight I made up an adaptor board for my 32.04245mhz oscillator ( from one of my megas) and put it in the STF.

Hoping that this would being Gembench results nearer to 100%.

Unfortunately my STF doesn't want to play nice at this frequency and kept freezing or bombing out.

Also, in case you are wondering, it didn't want to play with the 1 mhz osc I found either :D

Would assume bad connection as I think Icky got it working... Though you could scope the 32MHz lines before and after the buffer to see what its like.

I can confirm mine has been running for the last few days with 32.084988 MHz

Will try it again later as I've got a few of them, just adapting my monitor port at the mo

Thats the monitor unf*ck board fitted and the STF working with an Mega ST Osc of 32.04245Mhz.

Will post a benchmark shortly, still showing 99% but only by the smallest of fractions.

I need to order a DB19 plug from Exxos to test my UltraSatan with the STF.

In the meantime, I might plug in the blitter for a laugh and see what happens.

So, I don't know if it's just a coincidence but I fitted the blitter and removed the two links.

The STF didn't boot at all but then when removed and the links put back, I now have a dead GLUE. Of course it could be my soldering etc but swapped out the GLUE and without the blitter I can now boot back to desktop ok.

Bummer :( Might be worth checking the BG/BR/BGACK lines as some are routed via the GLUE... my design vs the STFM circuit, Also when breaking the jumpers, there might be a issue with pull ups.. But BGI, BGO are the only common things between blitter and glue I think.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained as the saying goes.

I'll have a look at the glitter circuit again soon, just happy it works again after relaxing the GLUE, (got a couple more spares left.)

You'll have 99% unless you have a 32.08 or higher oscillator
