Arrrrgh, slightly annoying, my No2 V1.1C IDE got its 88 pin PLCC socket today, but the IDE header didn't. Good news is that it all seems to be working from a ROM point of view, so I'm confident that it will work once the headers arrive. That'll take me up two betas, two V1.1Cs and 2 Megabus IDE interfaces.
I'm all IDE'd up 😁
Rj, you have the v1.0 IDE board also... maybe you should open an extension to Exxos's store selling IDE boards. Maybe give an autographed picture of your burned finger with every purchase. Anyway congrats on all the successful builds you've had lately. :bravo:

@PaulJ Thanks, appreciate that, it's been a good run, just waiting for something to go wrong....

I think you've had some of my luck @rubber_jonnie with regards to the ide boards. Although I will probably order a couple more when @exxos store is open again. I mean, my luck cant be that bad.
If nothing else I'll enjoy the fault finding when I get time.

I cant really complain as the break from the IDE boards did give me time to get my Mongrel H4 030 booting just fine now.

So @rubber_jonnie , which machine are you going to put your eprom emulator in? It goes well in the H4 and Mega. :) :) :)
It would be convenient to have your mega bus IDE with the emulator on the same board. PP did supply the GAL equations to provide $E00000 decode in addition to the standard $FC0000/$0000.

@PaulJ Honestly I don't know. I do have a good Mega1 that I may test it in which also has PPs IDE board in, but I need to work out how to assemble and fit the emulator first. It would be excellent to have 2.06 on it from an IDE PoV and as you say, PPs GAL covers the decode. Got to say it works very nicely even under TOS 1.04 and booting from floppy.
I'd like it to go in the Mega4 if I can get it to stay alive for longer than 10 seconds, as I have a secondary PP IDE board for which the GAL arrived today. Already know it works as tested with the GAL from the other. I'll see how I get on with this first one an will oder more if I like them, which I expect I will.

@PaulJ Presuming you have done the bodge wires on the back of the V1.1C IDE boards, I assume you've checked for shorts because a couple of them are very close together. I did wire up on pin on baord 2 one pin out which caused some consternation, but it worked as soon as I moved it.
