Well, this I why I like having smaller machines, you can work on 2 at the same time :)

Aaaand this arrived just now, a cheap buy off eBay:

Powers on then off almost immediately but AFAIK no yellow light. Looking at the state of the vents it's got a thermal problem, but at least on this one, the case hasn't melted, so even if it doesn't work, I can replace the case on my previously repaired melty PS3.

Yeah :)

I'm super lucky to have a lot of space free, I haven't even started on the loft yet :)

So, I am having a bit of a crisis in my brain. I keep watching videos about Altair and Imsai machines, and really would like to build some sort of S100 bus computer. I know there is the AltairDuino kit, which is nice and looks a fun build, but isn't quite the real thing.

Has anybody else looked at this sort of thing, and if so, what conclusion did you come to?
