I need to get email notification setup for when someone pings but, but just flashed the new firmware and it looks good so far. My GVP SCSI card doesn't seem to like the TF536 but it may be doing DMA which is a known issue. I've got a crummy CF card adapter lying around and got some stuff working. Haven't been able to test my X-Surf 100 board yet but I should get a better drive disk on module and do a clean install first before more testing. But it does boot!

I think the GVP needs a mountlist that uses non-fast ram.

TF536 now working on my Rev6.2 A2000.

The system spits it big time with the A2091 in there, with or without fastmem (enabled/disabled by jumper).
Even mounting just a CDROM with A2091 onboard fastmem disabled, the system locks up.
Not a complaint, just sharing information.

Interesting. I can't even get the machine to boot with the GVP board installed. It will seek the floppy drives and ping the IDE interface on the TF536, but when it goes to probe the SCSI sub-system, the light just goes solid and the system becomes completely unresponsive. Not a complaint, just sharing information. It's not really a deal breaker since I can use the IDE interface. I was unable to install Roadshow in the cheap CF adapter I was booting from without the system hanging during install to test the X-Surf-100. I hope a new drive arrangement will fix that problem and will report back my findings. Hopefully a new drive will work and then I won't need the SCSI card any longer anyway.

I can borrow a GVP from @Daedalus to test it at some point. I've tried it out before and it worked.

My A2091 works fine with the 536! It's just super slow as it drops to programmed I/O mode instead of using DMA.

EDIT: Actually, I can confirm I have the same issue (more or less). I can boot from SCSI fine, or IDE on the 536. And in both instances see all the drives on either the IDE interface or the SCSI. However, if I go into Sys Info and try to speed test the SCSI drive - the LED just stays lit and it never comes back with a result. I can also boot from from the SCSI and navigate the SCSI drives without issue, if I launch say Bubble Bobble (WHDLOAD) - the screeen goes black and it reboots. May it is just because of the ZIII RAM and the fact it cannot DMA, but then how does it boot for me?
