Just updated mine to iteration 4.
Everything worked fine (Big Time Sensuality WHDLoad is still too slow, and the devs say it's a TF1260 issue, but I digress).
I mean the speed is the same as most 1260 cards. I can take a look and see if i can get any more out of the fw if i get time. If stuff is running in chip ram then its a coding issue.
What I really find odd is that running cpuspeed from the same archive returns that my firmware is out of date.
Is it because my TF1260 was bought elsewhere?
No i must have messed up the build somehow. annoying.

Big Time Sensuality WHDLoad runs perfect for me with Iteration 4. It is one of the demos that was compromised in beta/alpha firmwares though. Are you 100% sure you flashed the right files?

I downloaded iteration 4 from the link on the first post. Now, looking again, the link on that one ends with
file.php?id=30958 while the link for iteration 4 on page 8 ends with
file.php?id=30959.
Could it be that they're different files?

As I said in the post above, I downloaded Iteration 4 from the link on the first post.
Is there a way to know that I'm with the right version, since TFTools from the same archive isn't working with me?

Oh, forget about it. As I should have expected, the error is on my side. I used cpuspeed from the firmware 1000 tftools archive and yes, I'm still on that version.
I was having issues using my Xilinx Platform Cable (the "Programming Properties" dialog on iMPACT insisted in being blank, with no options), so I followed
this article, about generating a SVF file before programming the flash. Apparently, it just pretends to be writing...
Could it be that the CPLD is write-protected?
Back to square one, I guess... Sorry for taking your time.

Just watched Big Time on IT4 and it is fine.
Lovely high Res pics and dreamy AGA plasma.
If TFTools from the same archive is not working it suggests you don't have IT4 uploaded.
Maybe try again? Are you using a Raspberry Pi? Quite easy to be in the wrong folder and flash the wrong firmware.

Been using the IT4 68090 firmware and testing demos and the like and most run 100% the only one i found to play up was `Hologon` by Electronic Knights, it would crash everytime ,Now I like this as it is my go to Demo on loop tester for TF cards, and dont forget this is a WHDload Demo , anyway easy fix just input into the Tooltypes Icon info these WHDload switches , NoAutoVec, NoCache, NoMMU, and it will run fine ;)

Simple as it is, I like that demo for the reasons you mentioned, and the songs are nice, too.
All I have for flashing is a Xilinx USB Platform Cable (Chinese knockoff, of course). And boy, is it picky to get its software working...

Well it still could be a hardware issue but lets eliminate software issues first.
I just created a clean install of AmigaOS 3.2 (on a 3.2.2 kickstart), there is nothing extra in the system except SysInfo 4.4 and it crashes anyway.
I'm not sure if my amiga has a timing fix, I don't want to break it down. On the other hand, everything I need works (AdPro, ImageFX, Brilliance, Photogenics, PPaint, DPaint, Imagine, Internet and a few demos and games), the only problem I've noticed is that SysInfo. I probably don't want to give it any more time, I'm happy. Thanks guys.

Good results on iteration 4 on my 1d4 A1200 so far, no instability noted. Nexus 7 demo works now and performance in other intensive 060 demos seems improved, general Workbench performance in high res laced mode is much snappier. Onboard IDE is testing faster in Sysspeed and notable improvement in boot up speed from same.
