Looking at the buyers interests, I really wonder if its even worth doing the bare boards as the bulk of them as the assembled ones anyway. Of course until @Icky and I have chance to do the new BOM and work out the costs, we don't know how much assembled will be yet. Though I can't imagine it being a huge amount.

I wouldn't cry too much if you went the built boards only route. It's not like I don't have plenty of other things vacuuming down my free time as it is. :D

For one of us that don't live close to Exxos the shipping on bare boards is better not to mension I'd rather build the boards myself instead of waiting many months for the contracted builder to get around to building them as seen with the H4. Soldering on the discrete's isn't that big a deal especially saving months of delay time and dollar's for shipping. Just my 2 cents. :coffee:

Your mixing up assembly steps..As said in the first post, its part assembled with SMT only, which is done at the same time the PCBs are made. So there is no delay. Terriblefire calls it "bird seed".
What your referring to, is full assembly which was done last time and took ages. In fact I've not even considered full assembly this time, and I bet others haven't actually read the post to what they are actually buying either.
The guy who is building my PSUs currently will be doing full assembly, but these will just be sold in my store once they are done. I'm not taking orders for those in advance again. These may well take several months to finish. Or I may simply not do it.
Plus what I said a few posts back, I may not sell just the PCBs as the smt stuff isnt exactly going to cost a lot and no delays either. It depends on cost, if its like £50 for smt stuff, then sure I will sell blank boards, but if its like £20 or less, then I'm not sure theres any point. Smt parts isn't going to have a huge impact on shipping costs and I already wrote about shipping in another post.

Your right @exxos , it didn't register that the board vendor did the population of the passive components. Still opt for bare board but either way is fine.
