In that case, run ETOS256*.PRG from floppy, then the dstb1 altram drivers. In this order, from AUTO or Desktop. Theoretically, it should work. If you try, you will see quicly.

All my issues with the dstb1 are fixed now thanks to the new ultrasatan firmware.

Here it is. I used the official EmuTOS 1.4 sources, with custom build.
Built with: As there is very, very little free space free with the standard compiler, the new features can't be added without removing something else. So I used the m68k-atari-mintelf compiler with GCC 13 instead. This allows to enable the LTO feature (Link Time Optimization) to save more space. So I have been able to enable Alt-RAM, IDE and UltraSatan clock into the 192 KB ROM. There are even 4.5 KB free for other features :lol:

Bonus: If you tell me what is the address range used by the dstb1 Alt-RAM, I will add support for it directly into the EmuTOS ROM, then you won't need any additional driver.

The new firmware soved it,

As the dstb1 has a very cool feature to kick a rom file to altram which never worked for me but now it does. So I can kick any tos rom file now…
So maybe can just keep the 1.04 in. Will test a bit first..

It was the Ultrsatan all along. I should have known.. Its in the name..

Do you mean that dstb1 is now stable in 16mhz+altram? David hasn’t updated his github repo, there is still warning there about instabilities — is this new development a hope that we can now start building dstb1?

Yes it is very stable on a standard ST. I still have some issues with a blitter however this does not seem to be universal.
I would say stable on a normal ST.

Is it Sstandard build or modified in your test effort?
