What has caused a little bit of confusion just, is that postcodes are now a requirement. I know I had this is optional in the store because half of Ireland did not have postcodes. But according to this article since 2015 they do..

I don't think we generally ship to Ireland very often, but either way, the postcode will be a requirement from now on. This is not a store related problem, Royal mail now require this and will not let us fill out the forms without the postcode. We need also full address , this is also now a requirement in the RM forms. So I have had to make this compulsory in the store now as well.

As I always keep saying, check your emails regularly along with your tracking page, as any issues will be presented to you and all need correcting. Any addresses which we cannot process will be delayed and a email sent for people to update their address. We are unable to send packages with incomplete name or address information.

I wrote my name and adress and post code and all the stuff that’s needed just as I have done previously and I even looked on an old box I still have since last time I ordered from here and it’s exactly the same but now I get an error message that something is wrong with my name or address 😅

90% of overseas orders are missing information off their address. We have been having to lookup the proper address every time ourselves in order to ship the order. We are not doing that any longer, sorry!

People should learn how to write their address properly and not depend on me to constantly fix it for people.I have better things to be spending my time on. So either the full address is entered as required or the store will reject the address now.

Those people who who put random crap into the boxes to get rid of the error rather than just reading what the error actually are a nightmare also. People just copy paste what they already put in than write the town they live in. We have to constantly rearrange and lookup addresses again. Worldwide addresses are complicated to figure out. It takes a lot time up. Why should I keep doing this because people are lazy, can't check their work and don't know where they live ?

There are now 3 orders I can't ship as royal mail need more information and missing off parts of the address simply can't be done any longer. I have sent about 10 emails to those people to fix their address and 2 days later still no reply.

Frankly we are sick to death of the amount of people who can't write their address. We get people missing off their name, writing initials only, even after being told not, we get parts of the address missing or duplicated. We literally have people putting like 52 newyork or other dumb crap like that. I've been stating problems like this for years. I wrote in the store to write the full address , next order, missed off information. But it's well known most people don't read anything. It says 3 times on the store page to check their address. Nobody reads it. Just enter any old random address crap and expect me to figure it all out.

Its basically going to force me to write a order cancel script to reject problem orders and to deal with it all. But with 90% of overseas orders having people incapable of writing their address, it's got to the point that I'm considering not shipping overseas anymore. It's just a ongoing nightmare.

I mean is it really so hard for people to write their address? If people don't know where they live how the hell am I supposed to ? I really question people's ability of doing hardware upgrades when they cannot even check their own work filling out simple name and address boxes .Even threatening a £10 charge last year in the store in big massive red letters went unnoticed and people still continued to write garbage in the address fields. Almost every single overseas address we have to manually edit and lookup on Google maps. I just feel that we are constantly picking up the slack for blatantly lazy people all the time :( Then when the package gets lost who is going to get the blame but me ?

I will likely introduce a £5 order cancel fee when I've wrote the new scripts. I'm not working for free anymore. Then those people who don't put their full address and don't check their emails and correct it after a week I'll get the order cancelled and refunded minus the fee and stripe transaction charges (which are not refundable by any means any longer). We will keep going around in circles until people put the proper information in.

This is why people must start putting this in their address. Previously we have done this work ourselves but it is become a full-time job almost in correcting people's addresses. We simply cannot post items without a complete address!
