Gi Guys,
I will open up the new 520St with the 'outlier' keys and see if this is original Atari or third party as suspected.
It was also my understanding as a layman, that key caps were interchangeable among many ST types.

it's the 520 ST without floppy. To be precise it is a 520STM.

The ST and STM keyboards are not interchangeable with later STF/M/Es as mentioned.
You can try swapping keycaps, but that's all you can do.

Apologies for digging up an old post, but I have two 520STM computers and they have different keyboards. One takes key caps like image two here and the other is the standard affair, with the same key caps you find on the STFM/STE/Falcon. There's an old post here about this rarer type of keyboard.

Unfortunately mine is missing some keys and has a potential membrane issue, so I'm looking for donor to use for parts. When I purchased the machine, I assumed it was the same as all others.
