I assumed Exxos was looking for a non-conductive cleaner for use on/around live electronics

But aren't there specific products for that purpose? And he said that mixed with water would help, but that presumably would increase conductivity ???

I was thinking something more domestic, like you have a carpet stain at home next to your desk, caused by accidental wine/beer spillage and it is right next to some electronics (like a server) something you don't want to or can't turn off?

Wondering if cleaning the carpet right next to a live server may cause a short?

It's for detecting foam build up in a waste water tank basically. I will do a blog on it all when I get chance. But time's in shortly supply for blogs currently.
