Doing a proper BOM and costing it up is on the list of things to do (TM).

One batch of five boards costs about £40 from JLC, but if they do the bottom SMD components too it'd only push it up to about £50 so it's worth it if someone wants to order five and sell four boards.

I've never plucked up the courage to order from them so far...maybe we need to start a forum topic to gauge interest!

It'd be interesting to find out quite how many of the forum members are blessed with a Falcon but haven't accelerated it yet - maybe more than we would think?

Anyway thanks again for your efforts with this & kudos for releasing it into the wild.

Is rev 2 of that SDRAM board for the ST's next on the list? :lol:

I will likely end up with a couple of spare boards. If anyone's interested in sourcing the parts and building one themselves in the next few weeks & will let me have some feedback, drop me a line.

That's probably due to the ongoing Shenzhen COVID-19 lockdown.

I stll need to package up a 'release' with gerbers, a bom, a pick and place file and the JEDEC, but just to point out the full source is now available at GitHub along with some very basic instructions.

I have no real desire for the 060 and the same goes for having to solder wires onto my F030 board. I'm sure I'm not the only one though.

I applaud @Badwolf for completing a great F030 booster :dualthumbup:

No, absolutely in agreement here! I bought a Nemesis accelerator for my Falcon back in the 90s but have never wanted to take the risk & fit it. Similarly with the majority of Falcon accelerators, so having a plug-in option is great.

Note that I'm quite happy to mod/accelerate/upgrade my other STF/M/E/Mega systems...but the Falcon is too rare and precious (to me) to take the risk.
I'm also fine with others being prepared to mod their systems!

Boo! We need more videos...please!

I might have to re-watch the existing videos as IIRC the problem was that the socket on the top wasn't the correct width...so maybe it would still be an option for something like the H4 or H5 where it could be fitted in one of the expansion sockets & never need to have a socket fitted on the top?

Disclaimer - I've not re-watched that video since it was first posted, so I might have forgotten lots of important details here...
