@Steve any chance you made a photo at some point that shows the reference you use?
Otherwise, I notice on the Sunon Product search page that there are many different wattages but all inferior to the original fan (which is at 12V x 0.12A = 1.44 W).
The search could also be narrowed down bu bearing type: BALL / SLEEVE / VAPO, but I have no idea what they mean, i-e which one is the most silent.
