Makes sense really, the buffee looks pretty good as a plain 68k emulator/accelerator/whatever, this being basically an adaptor board to get it into the 1200 expansion slot.
  :lol:alenppc wrote: 28 Apr 2021 01:56 Nice, a decelerator! Can we make one with a Z80?
Edit: can you imagine a ZX spectrum clone bridgeboard?
And this is exactly what the Amiga scene needs! I for one am unable to keep up with the constant race of pushing performance boundries far beyond stock speeds, 060's, Vampire's and what not, and the constant fighting of whose pedestrian slow ancient computer is better at playing Doom.
Haha. I had actually been contemplating putting a 68000 in the Falcon to see if it'd improve game compatibility. :Dterriblefire wrote: 27 Apr 2021 21:42 Has anyone ever thought how much fun it would be to put a plain 68000 in an amiga 1200?
Doesn't have to be a 68000, can be a Buffee board. We'll be equally happy :)Badwolf wrote: 28 Apr 2021 10:53Haha.
