Thanks a lot, Supaduper! The CIA has arrived, soldered, and the A600 is back to life, the floppy is working great, many thanks indeed! :D

But now I'm facing a very strange minor problem: the machine works good with KS 2.05, but fails to boot with KS 1.3. It shows a blue screen.
I still don't have a diagrom the troubleshoot it, but does anyone ever had this kind of problem?
Many thanks again!
Eduardo

Thanks for the info Supaduper, I didn´t know that!
However, my KS 1.3 ROM chip works in another A600 board I have here. Well, at least it boots and shows the hand holding disk image. May it be patched already? Its a NEC chip, not a burned EPROM. Code is 315093-02.
However, with this same KS 1.3 ROM in the A600 I repaired, I get only a blue screen. Very strange!

Kickstart 1.3 doesnt have scsi.device in it that will work with Gayle. So no hard disk support.

Yes, this is something I'm aware of. But it should not give me a blue screen on boot, right? Well, I think I'll need to do my homework and make some tests on the hardware, with Amiga Test Kit or DiagRom when it arrives. Thanks!
