OK, so 3 years later.....
I realize that if I want to complete these hardware ideas of mine I might just have to simplify things (without an EE degree or similar it makes designing stuff from scratch a bit of a stretch).

So, the Exxos ST2VGA appears to have adressed the issue of switch debouncing as last discussed here, and I suppose I could replace the colour/mono jumper with a switch, right?
What's missing then is support for an Atari monitor (colour or mono) as in my initial schematic postead earlier in this thread.

Finding that there are several ST2VGA adapters available, such as the ST2VGA from Centuriontech, is 'ST2VGA' just a generic name given for a 'Atari ST VGA adapters', or has a basic schematic/board design been released freely out there, and several takers have (such as the two mentioned above) made their own versions? If so, are there any Eagle schematics/board designs floating around which I could use, and add a third "Atari monitor" switch setting which would include a 13-pin DIN socket replicating the original ST video output?

The UBEswitch is an alternative as its schematics/board design has been made available for download, but it seems a little more complicated to understand and modify for my use, and I'd like to have something which doesn't rely on additional software to work.
