Exactly.. We could really have a awesome resource on here for repairs etc. Tho some people do not really support this idea. It is more people get help, move on, and stuff everyone else after
Yeah that's annoying as well, try to help people when and they just give up. Such threads will likely get deleted here if they really serve no purpose. No use in having pages of basically nothing.Neffers wrote: 02 Jul 2018 17:01 Yeah it makes no sense. I mean I have landed here from searching stuff via Google, and found a post or two but not what I was looking for as the peeps who started the thread just seemed to give up, for example. Web 2.0 killed the internet lol.
Oh man yeah. We have all encountered a huge list of results full of promise, from the most carefully in-putted strings in to search engines to find just the question you were asking in the first place, sooo irritating. Boils my balls.exxos wrote: 02 Jul 2018 17:10 Such threads will likely get deleted here if they really serve no purpose. No use in having pages of basically nothing.
I think if the thread had no resolution, and nobody is posted within months or more, I would probably say the thread is dead. Such posts could be kept in a new abandoned section I suppose..Neffers wrote: 02 Jul 2018 17:18 Again though that's more work. Plus there's the B Side. When do you define a thread truly dead? Cause someone might descend from the galaxy beyond and necropost with answers, I've seen that too (shoutouts to necroposters with actual answers).
