Will do when I get back from Yoga, although I've just noticed that the file that plays on TOS 1.04 but not on EmuTOS is .SNDH wereas .SND seem fine. Will check it out (see if it's consitant to file extension) and provide a link when I get back.

Hi @thorsten.otto
Can't get it to repeat with other tracks annoyingly.
It's when I try to play Decisive Factor by !cube that it stalls quite early in the track.

Hm, i cannot yet reproduce that. Can only test it on Hatari, but there it works as expected, both with an STE and an TT configuration.

I'm a bit of a purist and like hearing the Actual chip. :D
Thanks for all the work you do.
P.S. Is there a way on real hardware to get EmuTOS to start in Low Res? It starts in Medium Res and then is switched from the menu. Some Demos work on EmuTOS that bomb on TOS 1.04.

Low-Res should actually be the default unless you changed the setting in the desktop, then save the configuration file.
Regarding snd player: can you confirm that the only difference in your setup is the tos version? Or are there also different auto-folder/acc running when you compare TOS 1.04 to EmuTOS? Should that be the case, please make sure that the hung is not caused by some resident program. We are currently trying to investigate this, but snd-player just uses the YM2149 chip, and beside Dosound() there is not much support for it in the OS, so everything is usually just done by writing to the hardware registers.

Hi sorry @thorsten.otto
It was my fault. It's turned out to be ANTIBOMB.PRG Crazy how it only screws up one song.
Got the track working in every resolution now. I've tested EmuTOS from floppy drive and from UltraSatan in all resolutions and it is just that program. Sorry again.
As regards Medium and Low Resolutions. I find that if I save the desktop after switching to Low Resolution it will remember that when switching between High and Low on the video adapter. If I save the desktop whilst in High Resolution, the Resolution will default to Medium when I select Low on the video adapter.
Thanks.

I've just done some tests on TOS 2.06 and EmuTOS 1.0 (under Hatari 2.2.1). I confirm that when the saved resolution in the .INF file is high-rez, and the attached monitor is a colour monitor, the Atari desktop boots in low-rez while EmuDesk boots in medium-rez. Unless there's a really good reason to be different, I'll fix that.

Nice one @anodyne 8-)
Nearly 100% compatibility with everything now. Just some Demos that play on TOS 1.04 give this message on EmuTOS 1.0:

JAPAN.zip
On TOS 1.04:

Then If I try to load MEETCUBE on TOS 1.04 I get this:
