With cases with a lot of vents you are best to use the fans to extract the only time I would use a fan to blow air in is if the case is setup like a tunnel, so all air has to travel over the hot components before editing from the other end of the tunnel. Or in other words, if you can't pressurise the case dye to lots of holes, then such out the hot air with the fan instead

Trouble is, the arrows on the fan body that show direction of flow are generally not very visible, especially on fans with black plastic bodies. People then make assumptions and they're incorrect. If you have a thermometer gun, you could test out the two scenarios, but I'm going to stick to my guns and going with it should be exhausting for both.

I've done a lot of fan tests over the years. Fans should suck hot air out of the case. Fans blowing air in just circulates the hot air and causes a inferno inside the case.
