Small update, I am still working on this in the background...
The 3.3V regulator will not be assembled, basically as said before, I can only have so many " extended parts".. So as the regulator should be relatively easy to solder, and not necessary for board operation get it running, it is being sacrificed for the greater good..
Similar with the LS07...It had to be sacrificed because there is just too many parts... So people will have to solder that themselves...
I have had to change the bus pullups from 2.2K to 4.7K. This is actually supposed to have been done on the H4 anyway.. Basically because they don't do a 2.2K array, but do 4.7K as a basic part. Because there is a lot of them, the valley just had to be changed otherwise it will be a right PITA for people to solder them on.
I'm still trying to shuffle things around, but it looks like the bus buffers may not be fitted either :roll:

Looks like the regulator, LS02, LS07 will be left off. I can't do a larger image, but kinda looking like this now..
So this will be the "assembled" board...Ignore that some ICs are rotated this is just the preview having bugs...

Finally done a better tool page for sorting out the parts list for JLC..
Took a bit of doing, but I have already used it on 4 other PCB's , not trying anymore as it will probably break again :lol: :roll:

@exxos it appears I'm a little slow here. Is there a BOM for the H5. I see excerpts of a parts list with lots of caps. Also the 68901 doesn't have the same foot print as the H4. Is the used foot print meant to solder the chip directly to the board or a socket that solders to one side of the board? Any advice appreciated. :stars:

Slightly grumbly about the 68901 footprint myself as I have never managed to successfully solder down a surface mount PLCC. :(

It was a good idea at the time as they was all going to be pre-soldered with the DAC etc, but then the virus hit and everything went to hell.. If you look on the H5 history I have gone back to the socketed PLCC on the next batch..
Plus you wanted more SMT anyway ;)

Any chance that one of the 52 way SMT PLCC sockets might fit on the pads o the PCB? Then the 68901 would just fit in the socket... :shrug:
