Damn adapter fix. F@ckef up 3 extra
27c4096s. Literally burnt my final. I was staring at the progress indicator like in the past when formatting disks....go, go, go....Yess.

Today I only had time for few things:
Rom port, sockets for buffers, and floppy mod, 16mhz osc, dac and the other 3 smd ics, simm socket, few jumpers.

99% (including fixes)

Getting there (faster than I thought). Few more things are on the way, now have to wait for those. :sigh:

Yes waiting on snail mail and our post is not fast in the best of times. I must say exxos mail comes from the UK to the west cost of Canada in about 3 days

Hmm not what I expected, seems like troubleshooting times. I got white screen & no other output (on serial and such) and the DAC runs really hot. Can't keep my finger on it after 10-20 sec. Connections seem to be ok, though.
I took it off, put back on, no change. might be faulty?
I think the mono switch should work because if I switch the jumper the output goes black.

Got the DAC from @exxos so not sure what's your exeperience with this batch?

Using the diag rom at the moment but same with test cart.

The DAC's do run hot..

Have you done all the fixes ?
