Any generic 4mb 72pin simm should be OK.

OK, thanks. I will raid my stash of old PC memory to see what I have...might get lucky.

exxos wrote: 28 Oct 2019 20:17 You guys know your still going to need a doner machine for some of the main chips at least ? I do have some chips in my store like the WD1772 etc. Such chips will just have sockets on the board ready. Some connectors I have, but don't know if you want to get those from my store or the doner machine etc ?
I have an a few unloved ST's and working STE to get the bits for but other bits I will buy though the shop.

I know you can use either a simm or a falcon memory board.

I came in on this very late, so without reading the entire back catalog, what is the max memory for the H4?

4 MB or is it 14MB when using the Falcon board? Can I use the original Falcon Board I took out when I upgraded to Exxos' Falcon board.

As the ST MMU limit is 4MB, that's all you can use.

Ok so either a 4 MB Simm or a Falcon board, but still limited to 4 MB. Got it. Thanks

Finally managed to collect enough parts to build these boards up. Mine are being built at the same time. Will try and get stuff shipped out ASAP to be assembled ( I am sending them off to be built) So will post back here news of this progress as it happens (will take a while)

I hope to get these sent off to be assembled early next week. I assume there be a couple weeks before I get them. Though I think it may be best to send them after xmas as the post will start getting crazy now.

Incidentally. If anyone out there wants to sell assembled boards themselves, then I have no problem with that. I am unlikely going to have time to invest in doing any more assembled boards. I need to catch up on multiple other projects after xmas.
