Out of curiosity @8 Bit Dreams: Which firmware did you put on the TF520 so that they run in an Atari? I found none of the publicly available firmware versions to run satisfactorily in my ST.

have programmed the latest firmware available thru Stephen Leary,
He backported it while he was working on TF534,
im pretty sure this firmware was uploaded on Github

As mentioned, I've found multiple versions in multiple places (incl. Github) and none would run really stable on the ST.

I use mine on a Atari ST and it is stable under TOS 2.06. Sometimes there are 2 bombs at boot or the computer hangs. But very rarely. I have a lot of stuff working with the TF520. 1040ST Mainboard -> Lightning ST -> PuPla/2 -> Panther/2 with TSENG ET4/W32i and a NE2000 Network card.

What firmware is exactly on the TF520 ?

Had no time to check exact fw build - have a separate computer for these purposes, all firmwares are stored there,
will upload fw i used here..
