There is a extension which does it somewhere, but I don't think I got it working.. was thinking more of having 2 upload buttons.. normal and compressed... Depends how much the extension hacks stuff about I guess...

Yeah but that only applies to motherboard images and schematics. Every other image should be fine with auto resizing. By not limiting the resolution, only the file size the schematic people can still upload their huge resolution files.

I agree that limiting the file size is probably the way to go.

Had to use this today :

Took seconds, reduced 35mb of pics to 2mb. Seems easy enough to use?
