E-JagFest 2004: B

by TXG

Hello, I want to tell to readers that I am still alive, I haven't written any articles this year until now. My second meeting this year was E-JagFest 2004 in Germany. Although the ABBUC meeting was on the same date I decided to drive to E-JagFest because some people were there that I wanted to meet after such a long time. I drove for about two hours. When I entered the room lot s of people were already there, it was good to see so many Jaguar users. I started to unpack my Jaguar stuff. I brought two Cinepak conversions just for fun and to show what I am doing in my spare time with the Jaguar. One person from the Netherlands brought his Nuon N504 DVD player with games like Tempest 3000 and Iron Soldier 3 it's super, I still have a Nuon N505 but it still needs to be modified because this version doesn't have the joystick ports.

One of the reasons I went to this meeting was to see the latest demo of the game Eerievale that's being developed right now. It's an adventure game. The graphics are super, and I think this will be a good game when it's finished. Secondly I wanted to see the latest version of CLICKS! This game is like a program called Same, it's a very popular game and very addictive. I liked the graphics and new sounds in this new demo version, I can't wait until it's released.

One of the persons that couldn't be missed was Nick from 16/32 Sytems, he brought a lot of Jaguar stuff again. I think he is one of the best Jaguar supporters/dealers around. I bought some CDs and a Brett Hull Hockey cartridge from him.

At about 15:30 I had to leave this meeting, more people came in and even some Jaguar users from the UK arrived. In some other reviews I heard there were some developers from the UK as well but I didn't have a chance to meet them all. I hope we can meet some other time. But for me the meeting was a success, I had a good time.
