I do, I still have a FDD controller and Sideways board install to do on a BBC as well!!!

Luckily mostly quite small ones though.

Well, the ATOM2HDMI is finished and it looks great :)


What is odd is the red and blue line to the left of the '>' symbol.

If I type '123' they shift over to the other side of the screen:


And if I type another 3 characters, so 1-6, then the bars vanish until I hit return:


And on hitting return, they appear in their original place.

It's rather odd, so I think I need to ask over at Stardot as if I test with my colour board and BBC B SCART lead there are none of these bars present.

One thing to note is that there are some mods required to be able to program the CPLD from the RPi, and these can be found here:

ATOM CPLD Programming

And it's vitally important you follow these steps as if you don't then the ATOM programming menu is not available as it is deliberately hidden to prevent accidental programming on a different type of RGB2HDMI board as if you do you end up in a state of being unable to reflash the CPLD without a XYLINX programming tool.

It caught me out, but once I'd RTFM I got it going no problem. The in situ programming mod is just the addition of 4 wires and as such is a quick and worthwhile thing to do.

OK, so the issue is gone, hoglet over at Stardot made some suggestions, one of which was to shorten the cable between the Atom and the ATOM2HDMI and on cutting the cable down to 10cm it works flawlessly now :)

He did suggest that 60cm would be fine but 10cm works fine for me so I'll keep it at that.
