@LeakyBatz there isn't an STe specific PSU upgrade kit. They're PSU specific. So you would need to check what PSU you have, and order the corresponding kit.

Regarding the memory, errr.....I guess I need to pull out my 386 & check them. They are from a bag of previously tested sticks, though.

Would this be the kit for recapping the Atari STE PSU?

Your 386 may well have parity RAM installed so be sure to check. If it has 8 RAM IC's it should be OK, however if it only has 3 IC's you'll need to check the chips against their data sheets as I have run into 3 chip SIMMs with 2 x 4 bit ICs and a 1 bit parity IC.

Thanks @exxos , the diag cartridge arrived earlier this week. I decided to just use 2 256kb sticks until it's running properly.

I set up the cartridge for STE

This is the service manual, try section 3 starting at page 25.

BTW did you swap to non parity RAM? If not you should do so.

Can you get a sharper picture at all, I can't read the numbers on the ICs. Either that or write the numbers in a post.
