At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

You might end up with a right kludge inside your A1200, going from DVI to HDMI to HDMI to CSI Pi thing.

Just wait and when it comes out, the Framethrower A1200 won't be expensive. So you could just get that and sell your MK2 Indivision
Will have a look see what it's all about. Thanks.

No the Indivision HDMI cables work with MK1, MK2, MK2CR and MK3/a

We'll see but the Framethrower OCS/ECS turned out to be a budget product with budget quality features and in some instances is considerably inferior to the Indivision ECS (but it's a fraction of the price)

That makes sense.

I think I'll try and get hold of one of the HDMI to CSI-2 adapters and try to find an Indivision HDMI cable then. I have been looking and it seems there are people making them, so definitely a possibility.

@alexh So is there any config required to do this, or is it an out of the box type solution?

I'll ask on the PiStorm discord. I know it is called "Unicam" and it is part of the Emu68 base release.

Hold off a moment until there is a reply from Claude.

P.S. I see there are at least two different HDMI->CSI2 adapters.

I might get one too.... as I have a tiny HDMI switcher on-top of my a1200 at the moment, I press a button to switch to games/desktop. Not too much of an inconvenience really, but having it seamless would be nice.

You know you can disassemble the HDMI switchers, wire the switch to Pin13 on the Amiga Parallel port and PiStorm + Emu68 does the switching for you when it's the right time to go between RTG and native output.

OK, so for now the A1200/PiStorm is done and I am pretty amazed at just how good the machine including Caffeine OS on EMU68 is, I'm amazed and very pleased.

I decided to do one last thing to the machine though, the badge. The original was very tatty and peeling:

So I ordered a replacement.

Removing the old badge showed just hoe much the case had yellowed:

And the new badge looks great, though it does make the yellowed case a bit obvious. I may replace the case at a later date, but for now it can carry its history with it :)

OK, so this should be the final thing for the A1200, just a small quality of life upgrade.

The RPi SD card slot is completely hidden when the PiStorm is installed, so I've added a remoteSD card slot at the end of the trapdoor, no major cutting required, just removal of a small rib about an inch long on the inside of the case to get a flat surface to work with:

That way if I need to I can just pop out the SD card, and the slot is push to eject making it even easier.

I would have liked a shorter cable, but the first one I got was too short and this one was huge, though it did mean I could route in a way that wouldn't block the fan.

So far the length doesn't seem to be an issue, but if it does cause problems at least I know what cable length not to buy now.
