DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Wishing Dawn the best of luck for the upcoming treatment.

Knee replacements are not always the easiest & there may be a possibility that my wife might need one or both of these in time to come.

Oh dear. Best of luck to Dawn!

Will Royal Mail do pick ups for you? Save her a bit of hassle if so.

I know I did look into it before but I can't remember the outcome.

I would guess that if you have a cage of parcels they would pick it up for free but otherwise would charge.

Evri pickup.. But after the drama I had with that last time.. Nope..

Packages will get sent once a week at a minimum anyway when I go see her. I went up today and posted the outstanding orders and took her Aldi to stock up on a few bits as she normally walks there herself every week.

At the consumer level they're now pushing collection. I think it's about +30p on the postage, but I don't know if that's per item or per collection.

We have a business collection here and whilst the volumes are normally small (usually only one tray per day, sometimes none) we spend a lot of money with them elsewhere so that may be why they're happy to do it.

The story so far..

Basically I took a day off work in order to take my girlfriend to the hospital because she could not get there on her own. I forget the medical name for it all and cannot look it up after being banned of Facebook and cannot access my chat history now  but they basically said I was like muscle tissue over your knee Which is rubbing on the bone of the knee causing the pain.. But she is in so much pain now it takes her about 20 minutes to get up and down off the sofa never mind do anything else :(

I took another day off work to take her to the dentist because she has been waiting for ages because her front tooth is in a lot of pain also. I kid you not, as I was driving to my girlfriends flat, the dentist rang up and said due to a family emergency they had to rebook it.. So now she has to wait another two weeks.. And I will have to take another day off work now to take her...

I mean yeah these things happen, but Jesus.. They always has to be something every single week ! Not complaining but I will have to take to do her weekly shopping now. Her pain only seems to be getting increasingly worse as time goes on :( she is getting rather mad and frustrated at the moment because of it all.

I've been really busy with work the past few weeks and doing everything has become a bit of a problem :( I had to take it her for her cold flu jab a couple weeks ago.. They actually managed to give her the wrong one.. Go figure... I also need to go take her for another injection she has to have every three months.. Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about taking her to these places.. it's just another thing soaking up my time again.

Her parents are not well in general. her mother doesn't get hospital letter appointments of the time.. Then when they go to the doctors because they have an appointment, they then tell they had to cancel it and never told her.. Her mother can barely walk as it is, so going out is hard work for her.. And to actually book an appointment you have to ring up continuously at 8am and hope you can get an appointment.. Basically they only have a limited number, and well, tough-sh*t for everyone else.

This brings me back to my girlfriend again because the same doctors.. She wonders about going to try and get some painkillers or something but firstly its even getting an appointment in the first place.. And they'll probably just send a physiotherapy anyway.. Where she cannot actually get anywhere because she cannot even walk currently.. Not something I can travel every single day or week either.. What a world..

Anyway, store orders will probably only get posted once a week now. I mean I can do the travelling to the post office but I cannot pack up orders myself because of my RSI and I simply don't have time anyway.

With Christmas time approaching I still need to figure out what day the post office will stop accepting parcels as we generally stop posting store orders about a week before that date.. So the Christmas cut-off will probably be somewhere around the 10th of december. The store will still likely accept orders but they are just not going to be posted until probably the second week in January..

Yep. Take care of yourself as much as possible. You can't properly care for others if you don't care for yourself first.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
