DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Is that another recent addition?

I've still not managed to get the 2600 junior you gave me set up and working yet...

Maybe in a month or so I will actually have some hobby time.

My last day at work is the 31st October.... spooky!

:D
Yeah, I was a bit naughty and got that too, probably a couple of months after the 2600+. A bit silly really as they are both largely the same, however I do prefer the 7800 aesthetics and the pause button!!!

I also got a good deal on it, which always helps.

Sadly it doesn't work with my 7800 multi-cart, but for that I can use my real 7800 :)

There are subtle differences though, such as the TV Type switch on the 2600+. It can and sometimes is used for other functions on a 2600 and isn't replicated on the 7800+.

The one annoyance for me though, and is why I have the original 2600 and 7800 still, is that the video keypad required for Star Raiders doesn't work on either of the plus machines. It might come later though as a firmware update.

I have a plan to sell some of my stuff when I retire, so the easy to use stuff, such as the 2600/7800+, The Spectrum and The C64 (I'm getting one for my birthday) will be coming more to the fore and I'll sell off some real hardware.

Halloween for you last day of work... Very spooky.

I don't get to retire for another 7 years, just coming up on 60 in 2 weeks!!!

I'm "retiring "early (I turned 59 a few months back) so I can get work done on the house & land to get it on the market & sell up to move further south & downsize.

Work have already asked if I would consider working for them as a contractor/consultant in the future so we will see how that pans out...but it definitely won't be full time or I'd end up with no hobby time again

Theoretically I could but it would be financially stressful so I need to hang in there and keep putting extra into my work pension. Once I hit retirement age it'll be a lot easier 😁

Good luck with all your plans 👍
