DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

@PhilC , that's really quite interesting.

The cards I've tried works fine in PnP mode, I wonder if it's a case of those cards of your being configured for their own RT jumperless invention rather than "industry standard" PNP jumperless?
But then again, what are the odds your bunch of cards were that and my two were not..

(Edit: and since you could see it at the address you set in the PNP registers I guess that wasn't it after all)

Either way, feels like an auto folder driver could be good, which can handle configuring their RT jumperless mode.
Alternatively, ugly hacks in ISA_BIOS to specifically detect RTL8019 and use their RT initiation key rather than the standard PNP one.

Why oh why with the custom Realtek jumperless crap... is my big question here :lol:

@Atarian Computing I did look at that table and in the end gave up and hard wired them. They've worked great since.

Hm, well... that didn't work at all. The card is seemingly dead. No link light even. Nothing on monitor. I triple checked my work, it was solid from the get go. I don't think I'll revert back. I'll just find another card...

Sounds like you found the problem then. One dead RTL 8019AS. You can get the chips from AliExpress quite cheaply.

If you struggle to find another then let me know and I can send you one (chip or card)

I would certainly love to buy a working card off of you. Name your price.

@Atarian Computing I gave a card with jumpers somewhere, I'll dig it out and test it. Would you also like a chip to try repair your network card?

Appreciate it. If it's no skin off your back, I'd also appreciate the chip.
