DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Thanks! I gotta say though, as I have before, "I'm standing on the
shoulders of giants".

I had done a ton of things with my STacy originally, including
installing a color screen then giving up on it. Derkom hit the
ground running with this project and blazed the trail, IMHO.

We ended up with STacy's that are similar in some aspects and
quite a bit different in others, which is to be expected of course.

His efforts have made things so much easier for anyone else that
wants to follow a similar upgrade path though. The 3D printed
models he came up with alone are lifesaving, let alone his (huge!)
message thread detailing his efforts.

I personally can't thank him enough. :thanksyellow:

Thanks! There's a screw/post that's near the middle of the STacy that had to be removed for the
Pak 68/3 board to fit in place.

So...there's *always* 1 screw left out on this machine. :)

Firefly...One of my all time favourite shows.

Great use of the STacy IMHO.
Firefly is awesome. I was heartbroken at the time when they first cancelled it. Worst decision ever.

I kept looking at all those inputs on the LCD board. HDMI (used of course), DVI, and VGA. It just
seemed a waste to not do something with at least one of them while I was in there, mucking
around. A VGA connector is relatively small so I brought it out of the STacy. :)

Honestly, at this point I really should disassemble the whole thing,
apply a good primer and a final coat of Krylon Midnight Black, but
I'm not going to have time before the VCF Midwest 2025 show.

I had originally painted it years ago and after use and all the
work where I've modified things and taking it apart and then
putting back together and then taking it apart, and, well - you
get the idea. It's got nicks and scrapes and bangs galore from
all of that.

Keep in mind, this machine was *used*. It didn't set on a shelf
somewhere or stored away in a box. Before I retired, I took it
to work and used it late at night (I worked 12.5hr night shifts)
when it was slow. I probably did that 3-4 days a week for years.

I regret not having the time before the show to do that but I
guess they'll just have to accept it, warts 'n all. :)

PS Hopefully they'll be too busy looking at that color screen
to notice!
