DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Great stuff @stephen_usher
Re: Cyber Legends 2025 Questions and discussion
@stephen_usher I loved your exhibit from last year, the telex/teletext using a Pi to create pages from the internet for an ancient telex machine via a soft modem ?stephen_usher wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 1:52 pm I think that I'll just bring my "stunt" Sinclair QL and Raspberry Pi 400 to show off my diag ROM and the Pico based keyboard matrix emulator board, which should be able to emulate any keyboard matrix up to 8x12.

A perfect fusion of really old obsolete equipment, still able to be used is it was intended, with some modern help and interfacing - superb.
Re: Cyber Legends 2025 Questions and discussion
That'll be a good one @stephen_usher, wondering if the keyboard matrix emulator could be used in my Atom.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Quite probably. Technically it's just a 8 line in and 12 line out level shifter for the Pico with an RS232 port, so it Just(tm) needs software on the Pico.PhilC wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 4:08 pm That'll be a good one @stephen_usher, wondering if the keyboard matrix emulator could be used in my Atom.
I'm looking at re-writing the QL specific firmware to be more generic anyway.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: Cyber Legends 2025 Questions and discussion
Just over one week to go now!
Remember folks...
It would be easier if people could buy their tickets in advance, rather than on the door (especially exhibitors, as we have to sort out tables/locations before we start).
Thanks for your understanding.
