DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

There's not just raffle tickets, there's "hall entry tickets". As those help cover the cost of the hall rental.

I think @mrbombermillzy had that handled for me. Is that correct?

Yes. Im taking care of Jons entry fee. :D

I really need to start digging out what Im going to bring.

Not so much my exhibits; long gone are the days of me bringing 2 cars worth of gear in one car.

I think they boil down to:

* PA system - for talks/demonstrations
* Pong machine - backup retro games compo machine
* SY85 synthesizer - hey, its a synthy theme this year, dont you know?
* Mega ST + ATW800 + demos - Im hoping to be able to show a few bits and bobs on this
* MIDI leads - seem to come in handy when either music gear or MIDImaze are involved

So not too much. However, there is also going to be items for other forum members too.

Random request:
does anyone have a Yamaha CX5M? That would be an absolute blast to have with the music/MIDI theme this year.

Im still trying to push the 'swapmeet' angle of the show. The less we use the 'official parasitical' sources to get our retro fixes, the better off we all are. :)

Oh, one more thing - is anyone able to bring a decent projector?

I think @stephen_usher brought one last year, but - stepping delicately here - I dont think this will be possible this time round.

I have a SVGA/XGA projector, but it really needs a bulb. It may do as a last resort though, if nothing else comes up.

@mrbombermillzy I have a cx5m and keyboard that I got before I was ill last year, in fact I have two but not had any time to do other than make sure they turned on.

We do need some options for recording audio. I can record the video but the sound won't pickup on the cam.

If I'm bringing my Falcon so that @exxos can increase his test sample for clock fixes, I'll see if I can get Logic Audio installed & running as well (with Log3, Unitor II for additional MIDI ports - not sure about the Combiner or Human Touch).

I'm guessing that would be a bit less common than (and so preferable to) Cubase Audio (and I think I only have the standard Midex+, not the Falcon modified versions, so the numbe of MIDI ports wins hands down with Logic)

Then I can see if a sound module or two can also fit in the car...a couple from the following list: MT32/SC55/SC88/MU10/MU50/QY10/QY70/FB01 & maybe the TX7 to choose from?
Don't think I'll manage to bring a keyboard unless it's pretty compact (so maybe the Novation mm10 or Roland PC180 are candidates or the KC10 Spectra at a push).

Of course, checking that they still work would be desirable...so any preferences made in the next few days will be considered before I make a final decision.

@JezC I was thinking of either bringing an SC-88 pro or the MU-500. Got a lot. To bring as it is.
