Mucking around on the...ATW800/2

I understand that it's not specifically for the Mega STe but will it still run on it?

Its the VME memory mapping of the Seurat VRAM that will be different (for the STe), so it will perhaps run, but you probably wont see anything.

Hence:

* This version is for the Mega ST with 4mb (2mb may work, but Ive not tested) + ATW800/2 (If enough people are interested, I can probably knock up an STe VME version, if asked nicely).

Okay, thanks for the explanation. We've got a table at the upcoming
VCF Midwest 2025 show here in the US and we're planning on showing
at least 1 machine with an ATW800/2.

It would have been nice to show that if possible, but it's okay.

Alright, that was quicker to do than I thought; hopefully, its just a hard coded palette address needed seeing to, as vidmem was using Screenbase pointer.

My initial quick test on the TT resulted in it bombing out. However, I need to read more in detail, because it could be a "me issue" not a code issue.

One thing I didnt menion in the 'rules', is that the TT will also need 4Mb ST RAM minimum - I just took it for granted that would be the case already. I cant remember what the minimum size of ST RAM the TT can be configured to right now, but for this demo, it has to be 4Mb.

The TT has 2MB of ST RAM on the motherboard, so I guess that this is the minimum.
