DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Its the VME memory mapping of the Seurat VRAM that will be different (for the STe), so it will perhaps run, but you probably wont see anything.

Hence:

Okay, thanks for the explanation. We've got a table at the upcoming
VCF Midwest 2025 show here in the US and we're planning on showing
at least 1 machine with an ATW800/2.

It would have been nice to show that if possible, but it's okay.

Thanks for the work on it, appreciated. :)

@Darklord

Give me a few days and I'll have a MegaSTe version uploaded here. :)

Hopefully someone can check if they work or not.

Alright, that was quicker to do than I thought; hopefully, its just a hard coded palette address needed seeing to, as vidmem was using Screenbase pointer. :)

Here we are...

MK Demo Mega STe 4Mb version:

[PENDING TESTING] See details below for fixed version.

N.B: I dont have the above machine and this is out of scope of any emulator to test with, so it SHOULD, but may not work.

Remember to look here for any further details of the demo:

If anyone tries this, can you please let me know how you get on.

Good luck! :D

:cheers:

I'll keep my fingers crossed until someone can confirm it working. :)

My initial quick test on the TT resulted in it bombing out. However, I need to read more in detail, because it could be a "me issue" not a code issue.

@coonsgm Let me know if you figure it out or its definitely the demo thats the problem.

One thing I didnt menion in the 'rules', is that the TT will also need 4Mb ST RAM minimum - I just took it for granted that would be the case already. I cant remember what the minimum size of ST RAM the TT can be configured to right now, but for this demo, it has to be 4Mb.

The TT has 2MB of ST RAM on the motherboard, so I guess that this is the minimum. :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
