Makes sense.stephen_usher wrote: Wed Oct 22, 2025 11:09 amIndeed. The 68030 has a special interface to connect to the FPU directly which the 68000 doesn't have.rubber_jonnie wrote: Wed Oct 22, 2025 9:46 am I think my FPUs (One in my MSTE and one in my A1200 accelerator) are 25Mhz, so that's nice and speedy. I take it that the FPU in a TT is mapped in a totally different way to the MSTE.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: Newcomer arriving soon...
Finally gave up with the FPU tests...
The one I bought from exxos store was giving me errors, then passed all the tests and then started again to give errors.
So I've decided to fit back the original FPU, which surprisingly passed the tests several times and then started to give some errors.
And once the "FPU case" was closed, I could test my Lightning USB setup combined with the ATW800/2:
Everything is OK so far.
Now time to try the ATW800/2 video output.

Nice, I have a couple of NEC displays, though different models to these, and they are great for retro stuff.HigashiJun wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:11 am Speaking about monitors, I have received 2 nice babies today for my TT:

I have one of those and a 1970NX, both excellent. The 1970 is hooked up to my MSTE and the 1990 to my A1200 as a 2nd display.HigashiJun wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:48 amYes, my previous LCD1990FXp was really good too.rubber_jonnie wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:42 am Nice, I have a couple of NEC displays, though different models to these, and they are great for retro stuff.

Re: Newcomer arriving soon...
Today was keyboard day.
Although my keyboard was working fine, I have decided to replace the original membrane which is famous to be prone to failure.
I had a new replacement member from Best Electronics, which looks sturdier than the original one.
That was also a good opportunity to clean the grubby keyboard which shines now more than ever:
I just blowed compressed air on the keycaps in order to remove the dust beneath them:
The keyboard is now closed and ready to use.

Re: Newcomer arriving soon...
And a last picture with one of my two 1990SX monitors.
Will have to adjust the settings now...
I am really pleased with the result.
