At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

Totally concur to get this rolling asap so it can be advertised far and wide with plenty of time for organisation and hopefully increase of vendors/displays.

Hopefully @stephen_usher will have another fantastic display like his QL/Telex/Ceefax setup at CL2024, I missed out seeing it again at the RCF November in Cambridge due to the lergy.

What imo would be a nice crowd puller is @Robson's ST Book and ATW on show like the first event if he's available :D

Pixel Addict and Retro Gamer magazine seem to need something like 3 months lead time for anything to go in their mags so plenty of time once we have a date nailed.

Looking forward to it already

Nice point made about getting in contact with Retro Gamer & Pixel Addict. Have messaged Andrew Fisher who runs the homebrew pages in the Retro Gamer magazine, he will send the details over to the editor, Darran.

I have contact with the guys who write and publish Pixel Addict via Discord, so will get in touch with those guys there.

Cheers,

Rich

Oh dear.

I've no idea what to bring this year as the November display will be just a celebration of the rise of the 16 bit machines given that it's 40 years since the ST, Amiga and Mac really started to get to the consumers.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Just a wild guess, but I think we will be covered for Transputers at the show. ;)

Ive yet to be disappointed with Mr. Ushers exhibits. :) Im sure he will will be a great vintage computer representative, as always.

@felicemaggie : It looks like we really need to take you on as the official CL PR guy! :D Keep up the great work!

Only a few more days left to choose your preferred date for CL4 folks:

viewtopic.php?f=114&t=7504

Then we can start talking about what we are bringing and who is going to be there. :yay:

Another old name from Atari shows of old is intrigued about our event - so hopefully he can show up once the date is fixed:-

Mike Kerslake - who was the publisher behind the Atari Computing magazine, from the 90s. Hopefully some of you will remember him. He also took over organising the shows after Mike Goodman decided to stop.

Cheers,

Rich.

I remember the name, I can't quite place where or why though. I don't think I took the magazine. comp.sys.atari.st, perhaps?
