Thank you !agranlund wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 8:22 pmAh, sorry. Don't know if HDDriver in particular is a must. It's the only one I tried since I'm used to it from the ST.luciodra wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 7:55 pm Is it a must or is it necessary?
I saw that there are other works (PP or the Putnik drivers that I used on SatanDisk)?
What I meant to say is that some kind of Atari harddisk driver is necessary for running MagiC.
I haven't tried the PP driver, or some of the other alternatives.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
I finally managed to install Magic, albeit with some difficulty, partly due to my lack of knowledge of Atari.
I proceeded to prepare the SD-IDE using the latest version of HDDrivers, which I had to purchase.
Once I copied the contents of the Raven software to C, including NVDI, I downloaded and copied Magic with the correct files (basically, I renamed MAGIC.RAM, placing it in the root directory and everything else).
It works, it's nice, and it has some compatibility issues (at least I think so).
Any suggestions on how to improve the whole thing without reading around?

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
The answer to the first question is that I use uip.tos provided in the Granlund distribution in the drivers/ne2000 folder. To use uip.tos you must disable sting in the auto folder either by renaming it sting.prx or by using xboot.bbisi wrote: Wed Nov 19, 2025 6:28 pm @luciodra

I didn't quite understand the second question: are you referring to the power button on the case or the button on the motherboard? However, you only need to press once...

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
@bbisi your Raven should start up with the first press of the power button
Could I suggest that when this happens you get the serial log via com1 and post it in your own Raven topic. Then we can help you better.

Re: Raven060 (luciodra build).
@bbisi that's showing a full startup and boot to Tos. What happens when it fails to start?

With installed sting the ping is running over ethernet
from my Mac I can ping the raven
Then I deinstall sting, All with name sting I rename
Then I test uiptool.tos 54812k
but always break on start and very short time it shows something like eth failed to get .. usb..
usb ???? they don't find the network driver

Plug and play won't work with the uip tool, you need to set it to IRQ10 and address 300h.bbisi wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 4:22 pm yes I have an rtl8019
