GLUE.

You would probably have to cut the pins down. Not simple unfortunately.

For example
https://exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/4MBMMU/index.htm
Look at "FITTING TO "SILLY STYLE" MOTHERBOARDS SUCH AS C070523"

Hmmmm, I'll reflow it, but cutting the Pins won't help, unfortunately.

If the PCB is straight on the GLUE, even then its a bit to high and won't fit under the PSU.

I think if this point I can just refund you the board (will need your order number) because I did not realise/remember the GLUE on the MEGA was half under the PSU. I always thought it was further down the MB. I just don't think it's going to be possible to use this board on the mega unfortunately.

Many thanks for your offer to refund the board, but that is not necessary. You can't cover and remember everything.

Maybe you can suggest me an alternative decoder for the Mega ST, could it be the one which has to be put between CPU and board?

The only other item I sell its the combined decoder and booster https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0212 but you can reuse your old CPU if you don't want the 16MHz boost anyway. It can often be problematic to turbo the MEGA ST bus without doing a lot of fixes first. In fact I don't officially support the MEGA with the booster anymore because there are just too many problems in general to work through. but the raw TOS206 decoder should be fine anyway.

It's to allow you to use TOS 2.06 (256k ROM image) on an STF/M (which naturally only support the 192k image for TOS1.04 & lower)

Well that's a bugger, I was looking at this for one of my Mega's. Desoldering the CPU doesn't really appeal. :-/ TOS 1.4 or Emu192k will have to do for now.

Thanks.

I fitted a Compo T-board 2.06 into my STfm in about 1990 so I wasn't familiar with this term.

I assume the T-board is a decoder, it sits on top of the 68k.
