At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

I'm going to have a look at dimensions when I get home, sometime Saturday probably, but even if it does fit, I think you'd need an awful lot more than just a modular bottom case to make it fit based on the internals of the MSTE I have.

I like the idea, I just don't think it is feasible simply by modding the case bottom.
Falcon motherboard will fit into the MSTE/TT case. :D

That doesn't exactly show how it was done, which is my whole point. If it will physically fit what is required to make it fit, there is a lot of difference between the ST/Falcon form factor and the MSTE form factor.

Without any indication of what was done, there is no way to understand if it is a practical proposition.

Thanks for the info Frank, it's an interesting read.

Reading into it it seems to do this conversion the builder has used a TT case and a Falcon case - fine if you have them...

Also the ROM port is not accessible at all it would seem, so whilst I commend the builders work, as a one off it's great, but not so much as a practical project that every one could do.

Whilst a great idea (I love the MSTE/TT case too) there a lot of variables at play. You'd need a case bottom with modular side/rear ports for all ST/Falcon variants, plus a top case that allowed for the supports to work with all variants of mainboard if you want to allow a monitor to be set on top.

There's a lot to consider and a lot of modularity required. A good project for sure, if somebody has time to design it. As somebody with a mechanical engineering background I can see the possibilities having read that article.

When measuring motherboards and cases, is it the outer dimensions that are used or is there terminology to differentiate between internal measurements and external measurements?
I will try and find my notes on my design for a Mega style case.
