I use the WD1772-PH, but I think there is an issue elsewhere.
Have to try something else, but it's for tomorrow if time allows.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Thanks !
I hope so...
But I would like to focus on the A5000 tomorrow.
The A3000 is fully working and I'm just pimping it in now.

I'm looking forward to seeing the A5000 up and running fully. If you can, get a parallel port Zip drive, they are great for transferring software from Windows to RISCOS.HigashiJun wrote: 03 Dec 2023 11:52Thanks !

If you have one... and your FDD connector is working... a Gotek is an "ok" method of transferring files from PC to A3000 or A3010 (something with no integrated IDE). The HxC software can created custom Acorn .ADF images with the files you want to transfer. I have never tried to use custom disk formats on Acorn but on Amiga & Atari you can make disks which are considerably bigger than the biggest FD disk

I have a GOTEK and a HXC, but I like more the old FDD.alexh wrote: 04 Dec 2023 09:52 If you have one... and your FDD connector is working... a Gotek is an "ok" method of transferring files from PC to A3000 or A3010 (something with no integrated IDE). On the other hand, I plan to fit a HXC as a second drive in my A5000.

But you've got IDE on A5000 which you can connect to one of these for fast file transfer between Windows/Linux/MacOS<->RiscOS:

Re: Archie A3000 inbound
@alexh
Sure.
I have the first one in my Atari STE, but used as internal.
I could make an opening in the FDD plastic cover of my A5000 and fit the CF IDE adapter, but I don't really like to alter the outside of my retro machines, and I try to keep them genuine as much as possible.
The inside is on the other hand another story, and all kind of expansions and mods are allowed.
