That looks great @rubber_jonnie. As tempted as I am, I'll just use my Retropie cabinet for PC Engine stuff :)

Can't argue with you if that's what works for you :)PhilC wrote: 06 Jun 2023 16:24 That looks great @rubber_jonnie. As tempted as I am, I'll just use my Retropie cabinet for PC Engine stuff :)
I'm really pleased I took a chance on this machine, my first buy from Japan and I landed on a great seller. I'll have to look at what else he has :)
I'll need to line up an SD to HuCard adapter next, that should expand my horizons. It really is an impressive machine for sure.

I get that for sure. If you do decide to go for one, I would try Japan, prices are quite good.PhilC wrote: 06 Jun 2023 16:41 @rubber_jonnie its the cost of them that makes ir prohibitive at the mo, maybe next year? or after I sell a few more computers.

SD HUCard adapter is on the way, hopefully it'll open up some nice game avenues :)

Gave the controller a clean, looking nice:
Though I may still look for a proper controller for the Duo.

There is an official PCEngine Mouse and games which support the mouse.

Looking at the original controller that came with the Duo, it seems to have been 2 button, but with autofire switches for the 2 buttons, and when I took my controller apart for cleaning, it had the spaces for the switches and an extra IC, so in theory could be upgraded.
There seem to be a few other variations, like the 3 button with autofire too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the 6 button controllers generally 3rd party?
