DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

I got the USB card. I had to modify it to disconnect V I/O and 5V, otherwise its tries to connect 5V and 3.3V lines. Fake universal cards, sigh.

Anyway USB then works with 2.02 beta 10. Though I can't get my IDE booting now with 2.02 beta 10 and it just seems quite unstable. Pretty sure it worked before with a different compact flash card (my old one failed).

I think I can stick with 2.01 right for Radeon and then use Mint for USB keyboard/mouse and RTL8139 drivers. Is that correct?

BTW thanks @mikro for answering my Mint queries before. Regarding (ii) I ran the 'bash' command from the bin folder and it opened a window. The way toswin2 was hanging I ran a shell from the menu which, as you say, presumably also starts bash behind the scenes. Perhaps running 'bash' directly it starts a different terminal emulator gui?

Not sure if you've noticed, but there's a nice case available for CTPCI:

This case is released under the auspices of the "Polish Society for the Protection of Technical Heritage": https://ptodt.org.pl/

Speaking of cases... I have managed to acquire a pretty cool one but needs some modding. However I have discovered that CTPCI's PCI PCB isn't exactly... standard:

@foft you mentioned doing some adjustments, I guess making the spacing more aligned with PC world wasn't one of them?

Indeed...

BTW, the PTODT has a lot of nice stuff but their ordering system could be improved...

Only wire transfers are accepted as mean of payment.

Don't know for folks in Europe, but making a wire transfer from Japan to abroad is a real pain in...

You also have to contact them by mail prior to making an order, which is fine, but it would be nice from them to reply to your inquiry.

No, the gerbers were just offset a lot which the board house didn’t like. I just removed the offsets and aligned them.

what type of payment would be convenient for you?
I can talk with the Team about it.

I guess payments by credit card would be problematic, so the common PayPal way would be fine.

@Cyprian

Since ATARI FAN added credit cards as means of payment, I ordered a CTPCI BOX on July 25th of 2024.

More than 2 months has passed and still nothing delivered to an address in Europe (no way to be delivered in Japan).

I have just sent them an email and I really hope to have an answer soon explaining what's going on.

@HigashiJun patience, they do it solely on a hobby basis. It took some time to deliver mine, too (and I live in Slovakia, next to Poland).
