You can unban yourself if needed. It also sends me reports to investigate the ban.
DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Yeah like I've said before, I really want to just stop using emails altogether as it's just going to turn into a bigger load of hassle as time goes on.

The forum uses idnet mail server but if I'm doing something which looks spam related, then the same could happen to idnet..

I could pay for more services like a hosted email provider, but it's just more expense. If I'm going to pay for something then I'd pay for another antispam account and just turn off emails on the forum.

It's all just problems I can't really fix. The fault is with Microsoft. If they told me what the problem was I could do something about it. Maybe ramnodes ip range is blacklisted by Microsoft and the banning is nothing to do with me at all...

I have run my own mail server for almost 30 years now (wow, I am getting old), and still do. It has become challenging in recent years, but these days I see it as sort of a personal challenge to keep running my own server and win the battle against the giants.

Google/Gmail got really strict a couple of years ago, but as @Badwolf said, at least they are consistent and stick to published standards. Once I got all the SPF, DMARC, DKIM stuff configured properly, it's been smooth sailing with them. And to their credit, it is a good idea to have all these things set up properly, so I don't really mind that they forced me to get with the times and do that.

So far I've had no problems with Microsoft. Fingers crossed it remains that way.

I don't know why Google decided that DMARC was required as the industry dumped it soon after it was made a standard as DKIM did the same thing and more and better too.

Seeing as distributed spam bot systems easily and automatically set up the DNS entries for their bots so that they pass all these tests (which merely verify that the server is who it says it is and that the message hasn't been modified) the whole thing is pointless.

OK, at least we know that the latest Nigerian scam e-mail hasn't been modified in transit.

It does at least make it more difficult for them to forge return addresses in other peoples' domains.

When most e-mail clients don't show the real address any more anyway, this is moot as the "readable name" can be made to look like the correct from address the target is expecting, often using replacement Unicode characters to mask it from filters.

Another email back from MS.

The thing is, the delisting address no longer works because I am banned.. Rather ironic isn't it ? when I first started all this the delisting process worked, but I was back on the banned list within a couple of days again. now I can't even send emails to their delist address

It's almost comical...

3 days later no reply from Microsoft. They could be busy but I doubt anyone is looking into the problem.

I think I'm just going to do a copy / paste reply and keep sending the same email over and over again as they clearly are not reading it anyway.
