DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon in Northampton. Fellow Atari botherer, Richard 'Felice' Spowart had come over from Cambridge. We'd left our respective lady folks at retail mega-city Rushden Lakes One (pre-apocalypse war, for folk who follow classic 2000AD. )
Inside the parish hall at Weston Favell, there was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and pretty much all of my favourite computers were there, and some Commodore Amigas. No I didn't mean that, all of the machines and their owners had some interesting stories to tell.
So we've got rarities such as the Enterprise 128, running a state of the art Gradius or R-Type shooter. Amstrad GX4000 throwing out some tasty visuals, with many others waiting their turn, poo-coated Acorn Electron included.
The stars of this show were the various modded machines, Pi-Storm accelerated Amigas and Ataris. The recreated ST motherboards and FPGA recreated custom chips were live and running. I was inevitably drawn to a Falcon 030, a lucky attic find obtained at a reasonable price, according to its owner. There were several state of the art demos, but no F030 specific games on there, yet. I've not even mentioned Retro Lemon, who had a range of interesting add ons from Lotharek.
There was an interesting talk about the development of the FPGA custom chips and future intentions, pitched at a level easy to follow for us less technical folk.
Shortly after that, I had to leave early because of a 'Situation' arising at home (carer went into failure mode) so the day was over too quickly for me.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and the people who attended.
If there is another Cyber Legends reasonably close to me, I'm sure I'll go there, maybe even bring something to run.
Thanks for the event, let's have another one.

"We're the Maggie Team and we haven't had any dinner!"
Hopefully myself and @Badwolf managed to get @Ickys FPGA talk. I took some images during the day. I'll post the images when I get back home tomorrow night.
I ended up holding the cam at a angle as my tripod wasn't high enough for the projector screen. Ended up on a bit of a tilt but I tried my best to keep it all in frame. Hopefully I got something usable!
Oddly the M1 was packed tonight. Thought it be quiet being Sunday night. I think southbound was gridlocked.
Great event yesterday. Thanks all to those who helped organise, especially @PhilC as main organiser and @mrbombermillzy as well.
Amazing to meet so many people from different areas from, demo scene to Retro Lemon selling his wares and not to forget @exxos with ST cases and keyboards on sale.
We missed absent friends who were not able to make it due to other commitments, illness or even accidents (I hope all is well now @alexh such a shame for that to happen on the day)
There were various competitions of the worst and best working computer on show, a raffle and lastly a high score gaming competition which was a little confusing with all the Richard’s at the event. :)
I’ll let @PhilC provide more details here on those events.
I hope my talk was ok as it was off-the-cuff and looking forward to seeing how I look on video.
Once again great to see everyone and if I didn’t get to talk to anyone at the event may be next time.
@exxos brought donuts for everyone as well  Everyone's machine needs cleaning due to sticky fingers now
Was nice to play phoenix on my 2600. Also played some R-type style game on the spectrum next which was impressive. Sadly couldn't play anymore games as my hands started hurting :(
I was roped into help decide the best and worst computer. Very hard as all great computers. So I voted for @Steve's ST has he had a H5 with a pistorm showing off a facny high Res desktop. I also voted for @Steve for having the worst computer , as he put the case top on! I mean seriously, who does that ?!
So yes, as a few others have said, the competition for the best and worst computers was quite a tough one. With everything displayed being of great condition and fully working. An Enterprise 128 won the prize for best computer and as @exxos said earlier, we gave @Steve the prize for worst computer, a bit tongue in cheek yes but taken very well by Steve, who later passed on the prize to another worthy recipient.
The gaming competition was fiercely thought with some good old school choices. There were three games, Phoenix on the 2600, Space invaders on the TI-99 and Defender on the Jaguar. Amusingly with all the Richards who took part it was ironic that one should win first place and another Richard should end in last (I'll let you all guess who that was).
Ive finally found and unpacked my laptop, so I can log in here.
I think it was another great day. Many smiling faces. People seemed to be genuinely enjoying the day. Personally, I had a more relaxed experience than last time. Although still having to organise a few bits, I was so so grateful for having @PhilC onboard stepping up to co-host, hire the hall and to ease the load, along with the two lovely ladies (Meg and Lucy) taking care of other important 'administrative' tasks. (including baby sitting, it seems? )
I also want to thank everyone who attended and contributed to this great day. I think we have something special here and the vibe was great.
Im glad I got to chat a bit more to people this time (albeit, still struggling to set up my exhibits, but not as badly as last time) and I still think the day went far too quick.
So I just want to end by saying thank you to everyone at Cyberlegends v2 and I look forward to the third show!
