DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS
I was testing Franks blitter demo and noticed something odd when the blitter is enabled...
It looks like the background isn't be cleared/restored
When in 8MHz mode, or using CPU render, it is all fine.. so something is tripping up somewhere

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS
So not sure if I've done something daft but..
The STe gas been running fine but the GB6 results just look like that of a standard STe.
I'm running tos2.06 , the ce wire is connected to ce pin on fast rom board with resistor in between and sw has nothing connected.
Have I forgotten to do something?

As long as you did not connect SW to GND (it enables 8MHz mode).. nothing else to it...Forgottenmyname wrote: 31 Jul 2018 22:37 So not sure if I've done something daft but..

You did remove the old CPU (only other thing I can think of)

Yeah the old cpu is sat on the table as we speak.
The floppy drive is touching the socket for the rom but I have taped that and will bin the floppy for a gotek eventually. Could it be the ce wire?
And as I said, sw has nothing connected to it.
GB figures attached.

odd.. check pin 1 of the GAL make sure you have 40MHz there... I did test the boosters before I sent them out, so no idea why its stuck in 8MHz mode unless the osc has died. :shrug:Forgottenmyname wrote: 31 Jul 2018 22:57 The floppy drive is touching the socket for the rom but I have taped that and will bin the floppy for a gotek eventually. Nothing at pin 1 of the gal but an 8mhz signal at pin 2.
As far as I can tell there us 5v going to the osc but not a lot coming out.

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS
Can you check the contacts on the osc itself and make sure it has 5V on top 2 pins, gnd on bottom left, and 40MHz bottom right... either its a bad solder joint or the osc has died..Forgottenmyname wrote: 01 Aug 2018 19:10 Nothing at pin 1 of the gal but an 8mhz signal at pin 2.

Actually checked that after I posted earlier, so looks like the osc has died.
