At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.

flaco wrote: 27 Oct 2021 21:41 Hello,
I am interested in building my own TF1230 board, and after reading this whole post and others, I have two questions :

- is the hardware rev 2 still planned ?
Not at this time. Seems its working in almost every case. I had one stubborn case which i bought the A1200 from the user and it turned out to be a damaged motherboard.
flaco wrote: 27 Oct 2021 21:41 - is there a developer continuing the firmware development ? since few additional features might be possible and useful : maprom, RAM at ranger addresses, timed reset to switch features.... My RAM board installed in my 1200 actually have these, and I sometimes use them to boot newer kikstarts or old titles. Even if it requires a 288 CPLD.

Last but not least : thank you sir for all what you have done
No the features are locked as is. I will fix bugs as i find them.

Finally got around to uploading the source for the TF1230.

https://github.com/terriblefire/tf1230

Remember it has a No Derivatives license (that doesnt mean you cant experiment for personal fun). I will also accept bug fixes etc.

I have a lot of V54C3256804VCT6 chips (https://www.digchip.com/datasheets/down ... 256804VCT6), these are 5.4ns/166Mhz 32MB each one, unfortunately the initialization requires 200us instead of 100us, I have looked at the sources uploaded to github but my TF1230 refuses to boot with it. With tf1230r1_2021_10_30_alpha it boots although no ram is recognized.

@terriblefire I was wondering if you could upload your latest firmware sources so I can increase the delay and see if the chips work. Or perhaps increasing it in the main branch doesn't affect the official memory chips.

Sorry but you are on your own here.

CPLD : XC95144XL 10C
Memory : IS42S16320B - 6TLI

Will test other ROM versions this evening if time permits.
Both work with the TF1230?:
XC95144XL-10TQG144I
XC95144XL-10TQ144I

Only use XC95144XL-10TQG144I

the other one has a smaller footprint, I.E it is smaller ;)

Mark, is this correct? Both are the same Thin Quad Flat Pack 144 pin, as far as I am aware the G just indicates that it is certified lead free?

Happy to be shot down here!? :)

Ah ok it's just I bought something similar once and was a smaller footprint, just something to be aware of
